Matthew J. Velsmid, MD

Dr. Velsmid is a board-certified internist with more than 15 years of experience. He sees adults ages 18 and up in the Southbury primary careξoffice and via virtual visits. He is also certified to perform physicals for the Department of Transportation. He graduated from the University of Massachusetts Medical School and the Yale Primary Care Residency Program. While Dr. Velsmid has gained significant clinical experience through years of practice, he believes that developing a trusting relationship with each patient is of paramount importance. In his spare time, heξenjoys spending time with his family, running, skiing and hiking.
